American Health Associates-Phlebotomist 2019- Present Travel to nursing homes and collect residents blood and any pickups to take back to the lab. On average six to nine nursing home with average daily between 40 and 90 a day. Take specimens back to lab and spin down and process any pour offs and label to send to main lab. Quest Diagnostics-Patient Services Representative/Phlebotomist 2010 Run the independent outpatient lab in Medina. Draw patient's blood, collect urine specimens and drug screens. Enter patients insurance information and diagnosis codes and tests to be done. Prepare and process all specimens for pick up by courier. Also worked in hematology/oncology office where I would draw blood and prepare bone marrow slides for Dr as well. Cleveland Clinic- Clinical Technician- cardio thoracic and transplant ICU 2009-2010 Take blood from blood gas lines, Perform venipunctures as needed, insert IV lines, insert and remove catheters. Report input and out puts from chest tubes and catheters. Help bath patients and prepare rooms for incoming surgery patients

Log in specimens on computer, and perform heel sticks on infants as needed. Draw morning rounds and then split up floors for the rest of the shift
