EXPERIENCE

Miller MMIC Inc, Dallas, TX Contract - August 2023 RF MMIC designer, Remot

I am in a piece contract with Miller MMIC Inc. I have been working remotely since July 2023 in project pices. I am designing LNA, Divider and coupler, with GaAs technology using ADS, HFSS and Momentum for EM simulation.

GlobalFoundries, Santa Clara, CA Sep 2019- July 2023 I was a Member of RF/Mmwave reference design team for Automotive radar market 80GHz and 5G about 60GHz. My role is to bring from specification of LNA and PA at 80GHz, choose the schematics and structure of the core and passives, simulate and reach the results expected. And then generate the layout of each block and optimize it using EMX/PEX cells views and then from CONFIG set up the text bench in order to reach high performance expected after layout. I also design the layout of the whole circuit from each block to top circuit and GDS generation. I am familiar with DRC/LVS and Fabdrc and set up Fabdrc environement. RF/Analog/mmWave Layout designer 28nm/22nm/14nm; block layout PEX & EMX optimization by sizing, simulation performance from Config. GDS generation and submission tapeout, DRC, Fabdrc, MCS process . RF/Mmwave IC design we did:

LNA design at 80GHz, tapeout

PA design at 80 GHz, tapeout

VCO +Buffer at 20Gh, tapeout

PA design at 64GHz, tapeout

Schematics optimization, layouts optimized and sized from cell blocks to top level with EMX and PEX in order perform high performances.
