Construction Maintenance Accountant (CMA) / Southern California Edison (SCE)

• Perform accounting, administrative and warehousing functions associated with operations and maintenance activities.

• Processes and checks accounting as required in instruction manuals and assures accuracy of shipping and receiving of supplies.

• Maintains and updates equipment asset information.

• Assist with budget tracking and reconciliation.

• Makes and forwards completion reports. Pull and matches documentation with parts and serial numbers of all material.

• Supports district storms and claims and prepares material orders to be ordered for any emergency equipment supplies needed.

• Conducts monthly, annual, and perpetual inventories.

• Operates Material Management Program at district level and assists in loading and unloading trucks as needed.

• Provides clerical support, by filing all manifests and packing sheets for records and related documents and resolving any shipping or receiving issues needed. 2

• Arranges storage areas to facilitate issue, inventory, and rotation of equipment stock. Stocking of all parts and material in proper warehouse locations in the facility.

• Tool control responsibility to keep track and record of new tool deliveries, sending back tools under warranty to be fixed by the vendor and ordering tools as needed.

• Arranges material bins with equipment part numbers to perform ordering and inventory when needed.

• Verifies part number, serial number, and descriptions of all material each day for accuracy and records. Inventory accountability and control of all material and tool orders.

• Engages and maintains relationships with Suppliers and internal Operating Unit

(OU) to maintain/improve performance and material availability to support Southern California Edison District’s needs.

• Resolve all issues for material not delivered that are on the delivery manifest inspects for any material deemed dangerous or any hazards of leaking hazmat oil from any tools or equipment from delivery truck.

• Creating equipment records of assets in system to match work orders that need corrections on equipment changes installed out in field.

• Keeping track and record of salvage transformers and meters. Un-stalling old transformers from field in system to release record so it can be released for Hazmat pick-up. (TLM) Transform Load Management and (CSS) Customer Service system for meters.

• Packages and shipping of equipment, material or parts back to vendors or company Warehouse in West Minster for replaced or to be fixed.

• Total and complete support to all Crew members and Contractors of any supplies or any tools that are needed for jobs out in filed.

• The CMA job is within a department that’s named Field Accounting Organization

(FAO) that’s within Southern California Edison and each District within the company has an FAO department in it we support the district for all material and supplies that are needed for the field so the crew can complete jobs that are assigned to each SCE crew or Contractor Crew.

• Reports all material discrepancies or deficiencies to the appropriate authorities within the organization and SCE Warehouse in Westminster.

• Hazardous Waste Training and Operational Risk Management (ORM) Training and Hazardous Waste Disposal and Communication through SCE and Military.

• Transport material to Contractor yard using flatbed truck, smaller vehicle, and ATV.

• Always maintains clean work center of my assigned work area to properly do my best to my ability.

• Lifting objects up to 50 lbs., stooping, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, working in extreme high heat conditions, working in all-weather elements and in uncomfortable positions.

• Use of hand dolly and hydraulic pump dolly when moving items heavier than 50+ lbs.
