Convey materials to and from storage or work sites to designated area, using a hand truck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow and other handling devices

Secure lifting attachments to materials and convey load to destination, using hand-operated crane or hoist

Signal crane or hoisting operators to move loads to destination

Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes into company shipping/receiving database module

Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping.

Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.

Create pick sheets for employees by checking inventory for shipping.

Train new hires under OSHA certification for forklift operators
