Preparation and management of all company safety and medical policies and procedures, compliance with all regulatory safety requirements, and compliance audits by all regulatory agencies.

•Directly responsible for the management of the rig line of business for Key Energy Services in the South Eastern Gulf Coast.

•Directly responsible for 28 well servicing rigs ranging from 350 hp packages to 750 hp packages, 3 drilling rigs made up of 900 hp rig packages and 4 plug and abandonment units made up of 350 hp rigs. I am also responsible for heavy haul trucking in South Louisiana which is utilized to move our equipment from job site to job site.

•Plans and directs Divisional Operations which is made up of 4 locations in the South Eastern Gulf Coast region, including: Budget, P&L, HSE, and Overall Rig Operations. My position puts me in direct charge of 4 rig districts in South Louisiana and South East Texas, 8 Functional Managers directly and over 400 employees.

•Full P&L responsibility for the Southeastern Division with Annual Revenue exceeding $35 Million.

•During the Market Downturn in 2008-2009 with Revenues decreasing by 60% was able to maintain 30% P.B.T. on our Land Based Operations. Achieved these impressive results by reducing head count (where appropriate), restructuring salaries, and reassignment from in-house positions to 3rd party vendors.

•Utilized HSE Experience to reduce TRIR from a 6.22 (2008) to the present 2.83 (YTD).

•Integral Part of the Divisional Leadership Team collaborating with our Business Development Managers, HSE

Ark-La-Tex Division HSE Director 11/2004 to 09/2012

•Responsible for Division’s Safety Program for over 900 employees at 22 district locations, with over 100 well

Servicing work over rigs, 250 heavy duty vacuum trucks, winch trucks, high pressure trucks, and 18 salt water

Disposal wells in Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas.

•Conducted all OSHA, DOT, and EPA training for our entire division. Responsible for safety audits, rig inspections,

Accident investigations, root cause analysis, JSA’s, SOP’s, MOC’s, equipment inspections, environmental audits,

Workman’s compensation, risk assessment/management and fit testing.

•Created and Implemented our New Hire Orientation Program, which is now used as the model for 3 divisions within

•Created and Implemented a Rig Operator Certification Program, well site Mentoring Process, and

Well control Certification for “Cased” Holes.

• Created our Reasonable Suspicion Training for supervisors which are used company wide.

•Reduced TRIR from 7.57 in 2003 to a 0.94 at the end of 2008.

Area HSE Manager 03/2002 to 11/2004

•Responsible for all aspects of HSE for the South Louisiana District including: training, safety audits, rig inspections,

Accident investigations, root cause analysis, JSA’s, SOP’s, MOC’s, equipment inspections, environmental audits,

Worker’s compensation, risk assessment/management and fit testing. This included DOT Inspections, OSHA compliance, and API Implementation on Rigs.

•Integral Member of a Contractor Workover Safety Steering Team sponsored by Exxon which assisted the implementation of common operating guidelines to be used by contractors.

•Assisted OSHA in writing an inspection format for well servicing rigs.

•Helped reduce the TRIR in South Louisiana from a 5.43 TRIR and a 2.40 LTA to a 1.65 TRIR and a 0 LTA by implementing policy and procedures and holding our employees accountable for following them.

•Division was awarded 5 HSE Awards in 2003 by Key Corporate HSE Steering Committee for Lowest LTA, Lowest Preventable Vehicle Incident Rate (0.00), and most improved overall safety performance.
