Position: Drill Offsider (Exploration Drilling)
Duties:
Providing semi-skilled labor-intensive assistance across a wide spectrum of drilling operations in an efficient and safe manner
Assisting in loading, securing, and unloading drill equipment.
Assisting the Drillers in the positioning and movement of the drill.
Assisting with mobilising the rig from one drill site to another
Handling core - removing from tube, placing in core trays
Handling drilling rods and core tubes.
Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs
Mixing drill fluid additives
Cleaning equipment and keeping work area clean
Assisting the driller where required
Obtaining optimum life out of all site equipment and tools, location of the collar of the hole, ensuring correct alignment with front and back sites, offsets, depth and setting of the drill at the correct angle.
Familiarizing myself with the pipe tripping operations and how to safety handle and operate all drilling related tools and equipment

Position: Motor Vehicle Mechanic
Duties:
Repairing and installing hydraulic pumps, ignition systems and transmissions
Adjusting and replacing faulty and worn-out parts with suitable equipment and tools
Coordinating and discussing with customers for obtaining description of defects in the vehicle
Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace
Keeps tools, equipment, and work area clean, organized, and in good working condition
Performing routine maintenance checks and adjustments on such things as fluid levels, hoses, belts, brakes, tires, and clutches; changes filters and oil, and lubricates vehicles and motor driven equipment
Cooling system: flush radiator, replace hoses and thermostat, repair or replace radiator and water pump. Repairing and replacing drive shaft, differential, axle, transmission, and clutch
Performing routine and specific maintenance tasks
Correcting all equipment deficiencies and performs preventative maintenance tasks on company vehicles and equipment
