Work Experience:
Building Nurse for Hidden Oaks Middle School. Multitasking throughout the day with daily medication administration to children, while also attending and monitoring 9 diabetic children every school day. Many tasks for being a School Nurse: providing daily meds, carb counting for diabetic children, planning and preparing for field trips (IE: Epi pens, Emergency meds, Care plans) daily phone calls with parents and emails. Meeting all 1,128 childrens needs daily. Always prepared for any kind of emergency and practiced emergency drills. LPN Home Health Care Pediatric Nurse for Communities of Care. Provided 1:1 care for an infant who was born with numerous medical issues. Baby was diagnosed with dysphagia at birth and constantly needed to be suctioned for any and all oral secretions, from both oral and nasal cannulas. Baby was fed with the use of a G-tube, which needed constant attention to prevent any infection and correct placement of tube. Brought her to physical therapy once a week to work muscle tone, while multitasking with her constant o2 monitor and suctioning during PT sessions.
