Sr. Software QA Analyst, 05/2015 to 09/2021

Lead QA Team for Magic Distributor Management System through full QA testing lifecycles. Wrote and executed functional test scenarios and test cases of MDMS APIs for all Amway Affiliates. Guided and managed rewrite of existing automated testing and reporting platform to support Agile Sprints and monthly production deployments. Executed automated test suites by affiliate and identified, reported, prioritized and retested bugs as they moved through the MDMS testing lifecycles.

Developed Automated Scripts to test APIs using SoapUI and Postman. These were used to build user stories to string test cases together to simulate real life system interaction.

Updated, added and restructured existing postman API documentation into Confluence\Jira. This consistency and transparency assisted in efficiency gains of new hires and contractors by getting tribal knowledge into common areas for better collaboration among all Team members.

Developed and maintained reports using splunk and elastic search to interrogate API call frequencies by affiliate. These reports provided a myriad of information including; new API usage, no longer used API, malformed calls, high\low usage calls, comparison analysis by month and\or between affiliates.

Lead and executed test lifecycles for regression and new feature functionality alongside local and overseas testers. Local testers were contract and onsite from India and Belarus with offsite testers from India, Malaysia and Belarus. Sprints were managed in Jira using Agile methodologies.

Lead contract test engineering partners to develop automated testing platform to replace functional testing and inherited automation testing platform. The new automated test platform was completely rewritten and expanded coverage from a few hundred tests to thousands of unique tests by affiliate running multi-threaded and completing in minutes with vastly improved results.

Executed functional, regression and integration tests in multiple environments to support software life cycle promote to production for numerous projects. Documented software bugs and wrote test result reports. Executed Load Tests and published documented results with comparisons to previous runs.

Collaborated with Business Analysts and Developers to document requirements for replacement of Ordering System for rewrite of Amway.com site. Created Test Cases and plans, loaded and maintained full series of functional, regression and integration tests into TFS.

Ran monthly Load Testing against Amway.qa site and report results to Developers in order to enhance SQL call efficiency based on results. This required Monthly coordination with production system support teams to ensure similar load and activities occurring on month end were simulated in QA. Test accounts were also maintained and refreshed in the environment under load for this activity.

Maintained Tablets and phones in addition to sandboxes with mix of OS\Browser representing user points of entry and devices used on website. Ran and maintained scripting logs to determine the afore mentioned requirements.

Developed and scheduled Web scripts using Nimbus and created corresponding dashboards. The scripts were executed hourly in production and used to alert customer support of potential issues. The dashboards and scripts were also used for End of Month monitoring of the website.

Led teams of Customer Support members and contract employees to execute and report test results for Amway ANA Website. Wrote and executed test cases and test plans for all new feature functionality of the same.

Partnered with Finance Team in US and Dominican to convert all paper and tribal knowledge into test cases for upgrades and eventual system replacement.
