Seeking a senior electrical engineer position at oil and gas field to utilize my 15 years of experience in oil & gas field, power plants and tunnel metro projects, experienced in:

Responsibilities and duties:

Inspection of electrical explosion proof equipment (Certified CompEX (EX 01: EX 04)).

Maintenance, operation and troubleshooting for M.V switchgear (6.6 KV & 11KV), transformers, motor control center (MCC), low voltage switchboards, protection relays (Sepam & Ref), VSD, softstarter, UPS and batteries.

Maintenance, operation and troubleshooting for Ruston gas turbines(TB5000) 3*3 MW, 6.6 KV.

Maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of diesel generators.

Supervision of maintenance procedures for the computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), based on maintenance program (MAXIMO) to perform preventive maintenance for all of the electrical system.

Preparing technical specifications of M.V SWG, L.V SWG, MCC, UPS, VSD, Softstarter, motors, transformers, shelters, M.V & L.V cables and make technical study to select the suitable for hazard area (Ex) according to international standards codes.

Reviewing the technical offers of materials and ensure its compliance with material purchase requisition.

Execution of new projects at site as upgrade of MV switchgear, low voltage panels, MCC, protection relays and UPS.

Execution of projects with different clients as SEC, SWCC, Marafiq, SABIC and Aramco) as below:

Replacement of existing BOCBs by DTCBs and replacement of their old OHTL at 4 S/S, (SEC/NG).

Maintenance of Switchgears, exciter panels, 15 MW,13.8KV Motor (Yanpet - Yanbu).

Installation, testing and commissioning of DSM at Waad Al Shamal area projects (7) no. S/S 380KV and 132 KV, (SEC/NG).

Reviewing issued drawing and technical submittal and ensure its compliance with project specifications.

Submission of drawing submittal to customer and close follow-up for the approval.

Engagement with planning department to define project activities within the scope of work and preparing complete project schedule for entire project.

Engagement with procurement departments for defining the materials required to execute the project and provide the technical support to select the proper materials.

Placing order for various materials and coordination for assembly using SAP system.

Providing technical support to the field team during the execution.

Monitoring project progress to ensure schedule and budget target are met.

Carrying out site visits and meeting the concerned parties to ensure that technical requirements are followed.

Monitoring of Subcontractors performance.

Testing and commissioning of medium voltage switchgear (20 KV) including MVCB, CT, PT, Busbar, protection relay (Sepam) and voltage relay.

Testing and commissioning of transformers 20 /0.4KV with 250 K VA and 2.5 MVA.

Testing and commissioning of low voltage panels and its contents: (voltage relay, earth leakage relay, Meters…… Etc.).

Downloading PLC programs (Siemens S7-300) and the program of display(HMI) using Wincc Flexible, making modification for S7-300 programs and wincc flexible programs, doing general test and starting up the power station.

Very good Background about testing and commissioning of traction equipment like transformer 20kV/592V, rectifier 3.7 MW, DS’s and HSCBs (DC).

Supervision for testing and commissioning of high voltage station GIS (220 KV).

Conducting Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) successfully at France (Soreel company) and Egypt (Schneider electric company) for MV, LV and PLC panels. 3
