CURRENTLY RETIRED: Retired the first time from S&B Engineers on December 27th, 2016. Received request to temporarily return to work for S&B and worked from Sept 24, 2018 to March 12, 2020. Currently involved in volunteering for numerous non-profits and looking for meaningful part-time work to supplement retirement income.

SUMMARY OF EXERINCE

Forty plus years of diversified experience in Instrument / Control System engineering and design in the refining, polymer, pulp & paper and petrochemical industries. Includes Midstream and Downstream industries. Assignments have included Lead Instrument Engineer, Instrument Engineer, Controls Systems Engineer & Lead Instrument Designer. Also, worked as a journeyman instrument fitter in Gulf coast facilities before college.

Extensive knowledge in evaluation, sizing and specification and installation of field

instrumentation. Primary engineering responsibility was the specification of the instruments,

issuing requisitions, performing bid tab analysis and issuing purchase orders for field instrumentation. Utilized Intergraph’s Smart plant Instrumentation platform to manage the instrument index,

create ISA data sheets, as well as perform orifice plate calculations.

Responsibilities included the development and the implementation of project control schemes.

This included the development and management of the project P&IDs, utilizing MOC documentation.

Also, very competent with instrument design with regards to developing installation details

(process, pneumatic, mounting and electrical) and assigning the appropriate detail for the service

specific requirements. Design capabilities include all control system related wiring installations.

Experienced in all phases of plant control systems including front-end development for funding, scope development, detailed engineering & design, field support, construction, commissioning and start-up.

Duties included project development with responsibility for the budget, schedule, technical oversight and staff administration. Project TICs ranged from $250MM to $10MM
