Duties & Responsibilities in Consultant:
Project Execution, Supervision and Site management. Electrical design on Multi Storeyed buildings.
Quality assurance, Quality Control and Safety
Assisted in planning and implementation of all types of commercial construction projects Responsible for electrical services, ELV including PA voice evacuation system, security system, AV access control CCTV, fire alarm and reviewing Contractors material submittals, shop drawings, method statement, ITP in line with project specification, Value Engineering. Responsible for administration of construction contract works, and assist the RE with the prompt exchange of correspondence, submittals, and RFI's to all contractors. Assign and supervise the construction inspection staff on a daily basis so that all contractor activities are adequately covered.
Supervise and remain vigilant regarding all aspects of the construction activities. Respond with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with contract documents.
Review the contractor's progress at all times. Monitor the material incorporated in the work, the materials stored at the site, and the contractor's manpower and equipment. Read, interpreted, and communicated details of complex contract documents. Knowledge of FEDIC and local authority regulation. Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and sub-contractors maintaining daily log and presenting progress report to the management.
Reviewing IPC for every month and coordinate with RE and client QS for final approval. Duties & Responsibilities in Contracting:
Works involved in design & Technical:
Preparing technical documentation required for the execution of the project, including but not limited to general layout drawings, design calculations, value engineering studies, process flow sheets, standard detail drawings, construction shop drawings, equipment lists and data sheets. raceway/cabling layouts, cable schedules, cable routing details, earthing layouts and As-Built drawings,.
Responsible to close all NCR prior to submission of interim payments. Review of material submittals and preparing method statement of installation & testing commissioning of systems and getting approvals for the same. Perform all necessary design calculations complied with international codes and standards. The ability to interpret drawings, specifications and contractual documents, program and project inspection.
Material ordering for the project and finalizing purchase orders within the budget & to ensure that it is executed in accordance with the engineering designs knowledge in Elv systems include Fire Alarm System, CCTV, BMS, Structured Cabling System, Security Access Control System, Public Address System, Car Parking Management System, Audio Visual System, GSM, Wireless Radio System, Wireless Data Network, and etc.., Reviewing the cause & Effect matrix of fire alarm system in co-ordination with all other systems Works involved in construction & site activities:
Responsible for Coordination with civil and MEP, Construction, Correspondence, Meeting, Planning, Testing and commissioning, handing over of project etc., Exercising full control of work force at site activities leading a team of supervisors and Technicians.
Involved in Project scheduling including material and manpower planning and Fully responsible for handing over any project in time within the budget, Excellent Planner, Monthly reviews and Checking electrical drawings and preparing practical layout for erection and commissioning of project.
Independently handling the Electrical service installation at site. Exercising full control of work force at site activities leading a team of supervisors and Operators Project Material ordering according to site requirement. Conducting tool box meetings and strict safety procedures at site complying with international safety standards.
Attending MEP meeting with contractors & associated parties. Ability to meet deadlines and run with schedules.
Assist and direct technicians in trouble-shooting and determine the root cause failure & having hand on experience.
Having thorough knowledge of all Site MEP activities and ensuring the Site activities are as per the planned schedule.
Proper coordination with Client, Consultant, Supplier etc., for any type of problems at site. Expert in Site Management and adhere to the scheduled planning until Handover. Testing & Commissioning:
Testing and commissioning of all Electrical system Performing hotpot testing, Insulation resistance testing on HV & LV system. Testing of Cables and wires with continuity & Insulation resistance tests. Loop impedance testing & RCD testing of final circuits/sockets. Performing work permit requirements & Responsible for operating and maintaining all test equipment, precision tools, hand tools, etc in good condition. Performing shutdown jobs and arrangement of power supply & Restoration of Power of power in case of power failure.
Ensuring that inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, consumables, and special replacements parts are maintained / available stock to ensure continuous operation.
