Outreach Committee Head – American Institute of Chemical Engineers January 2020 - December 2020 K-12 Outreach
• Founded K-12 outreach for Purdue AIChE to educate future generations about chemical engineering and how this field can be beneficial in their future
• Successfully connected to 10 K-12 schools to Purdue AIChE within a year which engaged students with STEM learning
• Developed mentorship program that connects chemical engineers at Purdue with 8-10th graders in Indianapolis to inform them about STEM and college preparedness Freshman Outreach
• Organized events to unify Purdue freshman with the Chemical Engineering Department and other chemical engineering students which created a sense of community
