EC&I Engineer Responsibilities

Maintenance and troubleshooting of facility’s Electrical, instrument and control equipment including the PLC Siemens Sematic Step7, Allan Bradley RXlogics controls, Submersible pumps, both Single and Three phase motors, Sensors like thermocouple, RTD, Vibration Temperature, Level and Flow meters etc.

Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and other programmable logic controllers.

Provide comprehensive power plant performance, leadership, and support. Analyze, monitor, and report plant and system performance and condition through assessing operational and maintenance data.

Provide technical expertise and guidance in the resolution/prevention of equipment problems using technical knowledge in recommending course of action; aptitude for determining causes of failure.

Lead or participate in plant Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) processes to ensure corrective actions, repair or modifications are appropriate and timely in their execution.

Identify, evaluate, and provide solutions to complex technical problems in a timely manner.

Provide technical leadership to EC&I engineers/technicians

Work with Maintenance and Operations personnel to evaluate and resolve equipment issues.

Develop procedures and or review the Planned Maintenance (PM) activities on all control systems.

Team Lead in constructing and installation of plant equipment’s

Assistant Project Manager in the construction and commissioning of sewerage plants across the country.

Direct the activities of contractors to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
