WORK EXPERIENCE

Doha Specialized ENT Hospital, Khartoum – Sudan (January 2013 – Present)

Started as Specialist and ranked to Consultant respective to career ladder

Assigned in January 2013 by the General Director to establish a daily afternoon shift at the hospital, allowing daily nonstop specialist availability from 08:00-22:00

Responsibilities included review of patients in OPD, conduction of physical examination and setup of outpatient and inpatient management plans, assistance of hospital administration in reaching desired goals and targets, and participation in teaching and training of staff and junior doctors

Polished and improved my skills in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and sophisticated technologies available including intra-operative nasal navigation

Assisted administration in setup of all necessary measures during COVID-19 pandemic, and I was the first and only specialist to volunteer re-opening of the hospital after a short period of closure in March 2020, until other colleagues agreed to join after more than one month.

Now I run 4 outpatient clinics per week, and regular twice-weekly elective OR lists

I was member of the medical team who participated in establishment of ER services upon launch of the hospital in July 2007
