Degradation of Tannery effluent assisted by Ultrasound Here we have used advanced oxidation process technology for degradation. Application of this leads to the degradation of many complex organic compounds to much smaller compounds during cavitation process. This process reduced the COD of the tannery effluent to 64.4%. This result suggests that ultrasound assisted degradation of tannery effluent without using any chemicals can be proposed and developed as treatment for tannery effluent. Team size : 3
