I have more than 12-year of clinical experience in Anesthesia. This experience was gained in different types of surgeries such as; Neurosurgical, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Vascular, Urology, Bariatric, Plastic, IVF, Obstetrics and Gynecology surgical departments.
I had a very good exposure to both emergency and elective surgical operations. Additionally, I have gained a very good experience in dealing with critically ill patients in ICU & HDU. I was involved in all aspects of the delivery of patients’ perioperative anesthetic care. Prior to anesthesia
• prepare equipment needed for the patient to safely undergo anesthesia. This involves:
• Checking and setting up the anesthetic machine.
• Preparing for all types of anesthesia spinal, epidural, general and nerve block as well.
• Preparing intravenous drugs.
• Preparing intravenous therapy administration equipment.
• Preparing a range of devices to maintain the patient's airway (e.g. laryngeal masks, endotracheal tube).
• Communicating with the patient when they arrive into the operating theatre.
• Establish peripheral intravenous access.
• Applying anesthetic monitoring to help assess the patients' condition whilst under anesthesia. This includes electrocardiography (ECG), blood pressure and oxygen saturation devices.
• Preparing the PCA & PCEA pumps and refill them when needed. During anesthesia

• Establishing and securing an airway.
• Making sure that patients are positioned in such a way NOT to cause discomfort or injury during their procedure.
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and anesthesia depth.
• Temperature monitoring and regulation.
• Collection of patient blood samples.
• Acquiring transfusion fluids and equipment.
After anesthesia
I assist the anesthetist with:
• Waking the patient.
• Removing airway devices.
