Create and develop validation and DV/PV test plans for new vehicles (EV & ICE), for brake performance.

Review results & inspect parts after running test procedures for anomalies and failures.

Coordinate and store incoming/outgoing parts for future test plans and procedures.

Process data and write reports on completed test data, issue PRTS if data did not meet expectations.

Design special fixtures and seating bucks for component testing and evaluations.

Worked with assembly plants on end of line brake issues or concerns.

Perform brake pedal feel tuning and calibration updates.

Design Release Engineer – General Motors Corporation, Car Group, Warren, MI » 2003 – 2016

Worked on 2019 Omega rear corners, brake hoses, and WSS, current A1XC rear corners (CCC responsible for MOC calipers, A2LL/A2SL rear corners performed DRBTR tests with test vehicles at MPG.

Release responsible on Omega and A1XC Camaro rear corners, and CCC responsibility for MOC and rear rotors, PDT meetings and DFEMA updates.

Worked on Alpha/Alpha+ program, job responsibilities include release of apply system, brake pedals, vacuum hoses, and vacuum pump. Completed DCS reviews/allowable costs and submitted SOR’s.

Worked for apply system and vacuum hoses on ZR1 Corvette, working with validation engineering and the assembly plant completing a successful launch.

Release responsible for brake & accelerator pedal module and park brake system on the GMX 222/272, following through validation and plant launch.

Senior Designer – General Motors Corporation, Truck Group, Pontiac, MI » 1994 – 2003

Vehicle & underhood packaging including transmission and engine oil cooling, fuel bundles, and accelerator and cruise cables for LW9 engine.

Designed the LHD and RHD pedal apply systems w/1.5 cockpit build for GMT 360 program, from product inception through production intent.

Designer/Supervisor – Engineering Services, Southfield, MI » 1992 – 1994

Designed and detailed engine parts for GM Powertrain programs.

Modeled 3D wireframe and surfaces in CATIA/Unigraphics.

Mentored and supervised afternoon shift design group.

Underhood packaging on J, L and N cars for GM Car Group. This included engine cooling, HVAC, accelerator and cruise controls.
