Roles & Responsibilities Carried:

• Accountable for all Hub Operations (First Mile, Mid Mile & Last Mile OPS) under my span of control.

• Manage P&L of the Area, delivery AOP as budgeted, manage budget, resource allocation and schedules.

• Evaluation of budgeted manpower vs Active headcount vs Gaps for smooth OPS & other requirements as BCP (especially during sales period like BBD etc.)

• Achieving Cost per Shipment. Maintain the cost of operations as per budget.

• Ensure Profitable operations by ensuring the productivity.

• Achieve Zero lost shipment, shrinkage within hub and enroute.

• Proper planning and coordination with support team for recovery if any.

• Achieve productivity of Van/Bike as per budget.

• Achieving Maximum Productivity of manpower.

• Team Management, Training and Development of Hub teams.

• Manage effective Area functioning as per laid down norms for operations (Route planning, TAT’s etc.)

• Continuous Process Improvement and Adherence of Quality Standards always.

• Conduct Daily/Weekly/Monthly Review Meeting along with Hub In-charge and Support team.

• Ensure that lost shipment cases are evaluated, and recovery done within the timelines to avoid hub lost

• Evaluate if the lost shipment cases qualify as insurance claim and that such claim are processed in coordination with Central Business Finance team.

• Monitor performance of the Area on a regular basis and take decisions in the interest of the Area’s performance in consultation with senior management.

• Drive and encourage performance-oriented culture in the Area towards achievement of strategic goals.

• Set, monitor, and give inputs regarding benchmarks, performance criteria and process improvements.

• Responsible for tracking the DEPS (Damage/Excess/Pilferage/Shortage) & implementation of existing/new SOP to rectify the loss to the organization

• Monitoring security parameters across region and ensures no unlawful activity occurs.
