Operates Forklift safely and efficiently at all times. As Shippings & Receivings Supervisor I am responsible for LTL, straight truck and flatbed shipment paperwork. My duties are not limited to paperwork but using a forklift I pick finished goods, store finished goods, repack, band goods, physically stage products due for shipment also loading and unloading trucks as needed. I backup my forklift team assisting production operators when possible. I schedule trucks for inbound and outbound shipments leading a team of five daily. As the shipping Supervisor I am responsible for making sure everything that is available to ship, is past due, or soon due makes it out the door and on its way to our customers as soon as possible. I assist the sales team in any weight and dimensions they may need for expedited shipments. I assist all forklift operators any way I can, training, listening to concerns and motivating as needed.

As a material coordinator it was my responsibility to clean up raw material and finished goods inventory throughout the warehouse. I have provided bin locations to 90% of the warehouse and re-organized material to assist in accurate inventory control. I physically gathered inventory counts in each bin location in order to confirm it in our GSS system. Numbers that did not match would be investigated and reported on an Excel spreadsheet shared between our Shipping & Receiving/Inventory team.
