Agile Transformation Consultant

• Led global organizations through all phases of Agile transformation to include: strategic goal setting via OKRs, executive coaching, implementing the Scrum at Scale framework, initial training and education, team launch, team-level coaching, establishing an Agile Center of Excellence, and sustainment training.

• Provided specialized coaching and consulting for both leadership and individual Scrum Teams to ensure the implementation was performing optimally.

United States Navy March 2013 - Present

Naval Special Warfare Development Group, Virginia Beach, VA Project Manager – (September 2019 – September 2023)

• Developed & maintained records for 124 Naval Special Warfare projects which included planning, logistical & IT guidance, Department of Transportation requirements, Department of Defense requirements, training locations and point of contacts.

• Managed 3,100-line items of Naval Special Warfare ordnance with various classification levels found in 70 ammunition storage locations and 35 ready service lockers valuing $64M.

• Ordnance Quality Assurance/Safety Observer: initiated, planned, executed & completed 72 high risk training exercises located across the country as well as outside of the United States.

• Coordinated with 13 separate government agencies leading to the training of over 725 Special Operation Forces and government agents, leading shipments of Naval Special Warfare ordnance totaling 8,685 pounds of net explosive weight while remaining 1.3 million dollars under budget.

• Worked with multiple teams of subject matter experts to ensure proper equipment & materials were acquired for successful completion of projects.

Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Two, Virginia Beach, VA Scrum Team Leader (March 2015-September 2019)

• Integral team member in one of the first military Scrum implementations at Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Two in 2017 and continued implanting Scrum and Agile ways of working at varying levels of leadership.

• Team Leader for a cross-functional team which implemented Scrum within the organization, producing results within 18 months improving communication, prioritization, and task accomplishment.

• Directed Scrum and Agile adoption for the organization with leadership and guided teams through defining worthwhile goals and tracking results and performance.

• Served as Quality Assurance Safety Officer, completing 1,765 maintenance actions on 544 weapon systems for Navy Expeditionary Combat Command with 0 mishaps, saving the Navy $1.41M in replacement costs.

• Performed critical role as Range Safety Officer overseeing the training during 146 high-risk events for personnel across five multi-million-dollar ranges.
