April 2003 – October 2017: Volunteers of America/Bar None Residential Treatment Center RN Supervisor Work with clinical team to meet the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of boys ages 10-18 from a wide range of cultural and economical backgrounds, that have mental health needs and behavioral issues. Expertise in meeting licensure requirements for both DHS (Rule 2960) and DOC, and supervising the nursing department. Responsibilities include medication management, staff training, policy and procedure development, collaboration with team members, assessment of and response to resident injuries, illnesses, aand mental health issues. Worked with a multidisciplinary team to provide symptom management for the patient at end of life and support for the family.
