FURNITURE COLLECTION (CAPSTONE PROJECT)
• Created a series of mood boards, sketches, ergonomic tests, prototypes, and sewing patterns as part of the design devlopment phase of four home decor/furniture pieces.
• Sourced and curated a variety of cohesive materials/finishes including upholstery fabrics, trims, ceramics, glazes, different types of wood, and lacquers through online and retail means.
• Fabricated a chaise lounge utilizing advanced woodworking and upholstery techniques, reimagined a wingback chair, sculpted and wired a ceramic table lamp, and sewed and handpainted a decorative throw pillow.
• Presented my collection to guest design critics as well as the Parson’s community and public in two showcasings
• Created a comprehensive and playful magazine that provided insight into my creative process and illustrated the conceptual aspects of my work.
GOLDPOINT JEWELRY (INTERN)
• Assisted in the jewelry crafting process by meticulously filing, sanding, and soldering intricate pieces including engage- ment rings, pendents, and charms.
• Oversaw store operations by consistently curating eye-catching jewelry displays and tailored product recommenda- tions to meet individual needs, leading to increased sales and customer satisfaction.
• Managed timely retrieval and delivery of essential materials including castings, gemstones, components for stone setting, and items for engraving.
