Graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Marketing Management (HND) in 1994, and was tasked to draft print media advertisements and sales promotions for the retail shops of TMS.

Became the National Secretary for the TMS WORKS Council in the country, representing the workers at the negotiation platforms at company level.

Appointed to be a member of the Local Joint Committee (LJC) of the National Employment Council for the Commercial Sectors of Zimbabwe (NECCSZ) for disputes resolution, representing the Commercial Workers Union of Zimbabwe (CWUZ, a trade union), in 1997.

[D]. ACHIEVEMENTS

My appointment to the LJC panel of the NECCSZ representing the CWUZ in labour disputes resolution and at negotiating forums, in 1997 to 2010.

Researched and published a report of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) review for the National Employment Council for the Commercial Sectors of Zimbabwe in 1996.

best student at the IPMZ graduation ceremony of the 2003 students, graduating with an overall Credit Passes (10 points) for the Diploma in Labour Relations Course.

Was the top student graduating with an overall Distinction in Certificate of Competency in Theology (9 Distinctions out of the 12 Modules) at the Theological Extension by Extension College (TEEC) Graduation Ceremony of 2009, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Founded the Labour and Human Rights Advisory and Services Centre (LHRASC), an NPO for helping refugees, migrants and asylum seekers in Johannesburg, in 2011.

Observed the Zimbabwe and then the South Africa’s National Elections under the Catholic Commission for Justice for Peace (CCJP) in 2006 and 2014 respectively.

Was elected into the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the St. Augustine Catholic University of South Africa’s (SACUSA) and became the Academic Officer in the SRC for the period of 2012 – 2013.

Got three (3) Awards in Philosophy & Ethics as the best student at the at St. Augustine Catholic University, in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2012, 2013 & 2014.

Published an article on the ‘Role of Traditional Leaders in Africa’ and other articles in labour and politics whilst working for Helen Suzman Foundation (HSF) in Johannesburg, and was invited to present the above paper at the Regional Summit of the Traditional Leaders, 2017.

Facilitated / Chaired and also presented at several Summits held by the Circuit Media Network, in Johannesburg, from 2017 to 2022.

[E]. EXTRA MURAL ACTIVITIES

I am a writer, composer of sacred music in the Catholic Church in Zimbabwe, since 1986 to date, and registered with the Zimbabwe Music Rights Association.

Have written several articles and books, on issues of labour, politics, social and religion, some already published but some not yet.

Have recorded three audio albums on sacred music of my own compositions, used in liturgy in the Catholic Church in Zimbabwe.

I offer pro bono legal services to the less privileged members of the society, especially the migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, on issues of labour and human rights, in Johannesburg under the LHRASC – NPO.

I am a Lay Minister, Minister of the Word and Teacher of the Christian Faith in the Anglican Church under the Diocese of Christ the King in Johannesburg, South Africa.
