ACTIVITIES

During Covid, I volunteered at Sundown Mountain Alternative School. I assisted various instructors with online learning. I performed live dissections that were broadcast online for the Science Department. I modeled various mathematical concepts for the Math Department. Many students had difficulty adjusting to the online environment and I would facilitate online tutoring and question sessions. The office staff at Sundown also needed assistance when in person learning began again with organizing and coordinating the covid protocol. Another community activity I enjoyed was organizing and participating in events for the tenants at D&R River City. Most of the tenants are elderly and families cannot always visit during the holidays. I coordinated activities, food and clean up during these get together events
