Founded by Leon Peng, a former Olympic athlete, with funding from the Wharton School, this company recruits fitness instructors from different fields such as yoga, karate, and personal training to provide its global community an affordable way of accessing managed exercise. I was recruited as a personal trainer to create certification videos that allow me to match my passion for personal fitness with my ability to teach and train people to become healthier. I have since created 150 teaching videos using only household weights/objects structured around a syllabus I created that breaks-down the education of not only workouts based on body groups and proper form, but also is focused on learning the important necessities that are often missed such resting heart rate, target heart rate, overtraining, etc. JANUARY 2021 - PRESENT

Personal Trainer / Gunz n Bunz

I started my own company to allow me to improve my direct access to people looking for personal health improvements through exercise. When COVID closures pushed exercise to Zoom calls I had clients transfer from GymGuyz and then acquired more through networking, free trial bootcamps, and referrals that allowed me to solidify my own business. Eventually when businesses started opening up I expanded to mobile training where I would train clients at their home/apartment complex as well as their office gym. Doing so allowed me to cut out the middleman, which became more cost effective for my clients and more profitable for myself. I was able to develop a more personable relationship with my clients and create workouts that could be customized to each client’s own needs.

Personal Trainer / Various Companies (LA Fitness, Gymguyz) Both as a private and gym-based trainer, I’ve had experience throughout the entire customer journey, from client acquisition to conversion into a stable, recurring engagement. As a personal trainer, I generally carry a client load of between forty and sixty engagements, with an average 82% six-month retention. In a gym setting, I typically increase their training throughput significantly by improving processes and training the other trainers. Clients typically lose between twenty and sixty pounds, depending on goals.

Territory Manager / (Outside Sales) / Progressive Labs Given the event marketing success, moved to an outside sales position, where I created the connection from a trade show.
