• Tech skills that I am Perficient at, Venipuncture, Intravenous Injection, Intravenous Catheter placement, Urethral catheter placement, Administer Intravenous fluids, CRI pump, Blood pressure (Doppler handheld) most machines, obtain ocular pressure via tonometry pen. I can restrain or teach restraint. For felines canines and ferrets. Dental Radiograph expert hands on and can teach. Past 5 years I was head surgery nurse, calculate drug pre-med doses per weight for all surgery's, prepare surgery suite for each surgery patient, induce each pet with proper propofol dose, intubate patient with proper intubation tube size, cuff inflation and anesthesia started with O2 and SP02 next then have my assistant give 2 breaths to make sure intubation tube is in proper position by osculating the lungs for each different pet. CO2 monitoring as well as any anesthesia monitoring device preferably Cardell. Set the anesthesia machines breathing bags and non&rebreathing circuits for each pet . I can read most heart blocks on ECG I do prefer to use glycopyrrolate for blocks or low heart rate pending on the pre-med, being as it’s, the only drug offered at the time at a certain practice.
