•Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.

•Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and test products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical characteristics.

•Documents finish product status by recording and summarizing raw materials, in-process, and finished-product inspection and physical test data, updates quality database.

•Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.

•Ability to use inspection tools such as calipers, scales, micrometer, height gauges, and flat surfaces.

•Follow electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and work instructions to assemble and test cable harnesses, mechanical, electronic.

•Setup, adjust, adapt, operate and interpret results from standard and special purpose test equipment.

•Perform functional, qualification, and acceptance tests,

•Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems.

•Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment.

•Inspect cable harnesses, mechanical and electronic assemblies.

•Proactively suggest improvements to clarify documentation and insure consistency in assembly and testing.

•Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists

•May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures

•Be able to use (DMM) oscilloscopes, multimeters, and test equipment to diagnose and figure out for test and to troubleshoot on circuit boards (PCB).

•Perform Hi-Pot test, subtest, stability test to verify calibration test

•Apply functional test to troubleshoot on subassemblies and to finish products

•Coordinate and perform complex and detailed rework on printed circuit board assemblies
