Responsibilities

Implements the on-going MAF-E HSE strategy across Egypt and Lebanon. Provides professional HSE advice and technical support to all MAF-E BU’s managers and their subsequent teams. Ensures the continual development of the MAF-E Health & Safety Management System procedures. Drives incident reduction across all the business units while ensuring teams have adequate training and support. Manage to obtain the knowledge & Review of national & international safety laws. Provide technical support & assistance to construction and renovation projects, coordinate safety requirements. Carries out and leads independent investigations into any incidents that may occur across the MAF-E BU’s. Manages & support the development, implementation and on-going review of MAF-E crisis management plans. Conducts HSE compliance audits and inspections across all MAF-E BU’s. Ensures all actions are tracked using the MAFGATEWAY system and followed up with the businesses accordingly. Manages the planning and delivery of the HSE training program on behalf of the MAF-E HSE training Centre. Manages the timely issue of all periodic HSE reports. Support supply chain team to implement the new vendor selection. Follow up on the implementation of sustainability agenda.

Ensures the continual development of the MAF-E Food Safety Management System procedures. Reviews & supports supply chain team to ensure embedding MAF-E food safety requirement applied for all contracts in place. Review, revise and update the food safety SOP’s where and when required as per internal or external changes, conduct quality systems audits for ISO Certification.
