James City County, VA

Scott’s Pond Pump Station – Prepared calculations and design plans for the JCSA pump station serving the residential development.

B-27 Booster Station – Prepared calculations and design plans for upgrade to the Ironbound booster station to serve the lower County and to provide additional water to the upper County Stonehouse elevated water storage tank.

Carter Cat Machinery – Prepared site and building plans for new sales and repair facility in Greenmount Industrial Park. Project included sales building with detached warehouse and repair center for equipment. Buildings are structural steel with the sales center having a brick exterior.

Storage Sense – Prepared site and building plans for new climate controlled indoor storage facility. Project included multiple storage units for public use in Greenmount Industrial Park. Building is served by an onsite pump station with backup power for emergencies.

Lawrenceville Brick Distribution – Prepared site and building plans for new sales and distribution facility in James River Industrial Park. Project included sales building with detached warehouse for brick storage. Buildings are structural steel with the sales center having a brick exterior.

Busch Gardens / Water Country Williamsburg, James City and York County, VA –Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD) and Newport News Waterworks (NNWW) for inclusion into their systems models. Prepared pump calculations and design plans for new water rides for Water Country. Buildings are themed for each section.

James River Industrial Park – Project Designer for a variety of engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental services projects. Projects included road extensions, overall drainage study, utilities, and individual site plans.

Greenmount Industrial Park – Project Designer for a variety of engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental services projects. Projects included road extensions, overall drainage study, utilities, and individual site plans for Carter Cat Machinery, Climatrol Storage Facility, and Haynes Distribution Center.

Stonehouse Industrial Park – Prepared plans, calculations, and specifications for industrial development to include County owned elevated water storage tank and sanitary pumping stations, overall water and sanitary sewer system design, and construction management. Project Designer for individual site plans for Nicewood Enterprises, C&F Headquarters, and Wythe Will Distributing.

City of Newport News

Pump Station 37 Project Manager for civil site design for design for replacement of Pump Station 37 on the existing site. Design included coordination for replacement/realigning and manhole rehabilitation for influent sewers in Warwick Blvd. and for connection to existing HRSD force mains adjacent to the facility. Building is brick and block design situated over deep wet well and dry well.

Old Dominion Utility Services, Inc.

ODUS Joint Base Langley-Eustis Alternate Water Supply Line and Booster Station, Fort Eustis, VA – Project Manager for proposed installation of 2,500 LF of 12-inch water main from Enterprise Drive to an existing dual 8-inch water main on Fort Eustis. This water main would serve as a secondary feed to the Fort Eustis water system and improve reliability. A 2 MGD booster pump station is also required to fill the two tanks that serve the base in a timely fashion. Huntington Ingalls Industries/Newport News Shipbuilding (HII/NNS)

Water and Sanitary Sewer Hydraulic Modeling – Project Designer. Developed and maintains a hydraulic model (using Bentley WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS) of the Shipyard’s water and sanitary sewer system. Model comprises of 18 sewer pump stations and associated force main as well as assisted City for elevation water storage tank replacement.

City Water System Study – Project Designer. Developed and maintained a hydraulic model (H20Net/Map) of the Shipyard’s city water system.

Sprinkler Water System – Project Designer. Analyzed current conditions and developed sprinkler hydraulic model. Flow tests were conducted at water front facilities and hydrant flow tests were conducted at various locations within the system.

Fire Protection System Analysis and Design – Preparation of complex hydraulic calculations, plans and specifications for new work and rehab of existing fire protection water distribution system piping.

NNI Shield Wall Fabrication Site Plan Phase II & III – Project Designer for the design and of site and building expansion. Design included overall layout and design of parking, access, drainage, water, fire protection, and sewer systems.

Naval Station Newport, RI

Naval Station Newport – Project Designer and field superintendent in charge of field investigation, analysis, and design improvements for sewer system consisting of over 134,000 LF of sewer, 900 manhole structures, and 26 pump stations. Construction plans and specifications were provided for recommending improvements to sewer and pump stations for over $8 million.
