AWD Wholesaler Program: Bowie State University

The AWD Wholesaler Internship Program was established to bring firms in connection with the financial services industry together to support diversity, inclusion, and racial equity.

Screen candidates within the financial services industry by reviewing internship applications

Communicated with wholesalers to create groups for students, managed the program’s database which tracked students’ performance and progress throughout the internship throughout the 4-month duration

Conducted research about interviewing with wholesalers which results shown that if an interviewer studies the job description before the interview, they are more likely to get the job over someone who did not review
