I have worked with polymer mud, water base mud, sprayberry mud, oil base mud and also have done camp jobs. I have worked with New Park for 1 year and was laid off due to reduction of force. I have had to supervise the additions of chemicals into active drilling fluids, and have good communication with the derrikman and company man and leave them a list of daily treatments. Also had to have an accurate inventory count and cost on daily reports. I had to keep up with engineering ticket invoices and delivery tickets that needed to be signed. When I was Working as a delivery driver for Performance Chemicals. I would use a viking pump to pump chemical from a tote into a chemical tank on location. Also had been treating wells with triplex pump. I am Currently back as a Mud Engineer, and working as a Consultant at JAB Recruitment. I have been on Noble Energy site for Halliburton doing camp jobs. We stay there from start to finish. We drill surface with fresh water, then intermediate with brine, and finish off the horizontal well with Oil base mud. I have worked in the Permian Basin for 10 years. The Delaware basin is where I have been working the most. Communication
Have great communication skills and also work well with others. Also great listener to obtain more knowledge from others. I had to have a lot of communication with the rig hands and company man to make sure they knew what I needed them to mix daily. And I always tried to have a great relationship with the company man.
Leadership
Had to order the material for the rigs, and always made sure there was enough material on site at all times to keep the customer happy. Also I kept my inventory and daily cost accurate on daily reports. Made sure all my mud checks were correct to avoid any problems before they happened. Also always liked to have good communication with the derrickhand, and supervise him when we were mudding up the drilling fluids.
