Food Preparation Worker Jul 2023 - Oct 2023

I was in charge of opening the shop and setting up the sinks, waffle cone maker, toppings, and making sure everything was clean and in order. I also started the night shift and was responsible for cleaning and breakdown of all the tasks listed above. I trained two other employees as in how to do the above listed tasks. I interacted well with regular as well as new potential customers.

I started out on the prep table putting together the meats and cheeses to go into the oven as well as the breads for sandwiches, tortillas for wraps and small breads for salads. On the other side I worked on the table that the foods listed above were built. The third station I worked was salad prep and building. The last station was the servers position or pit as I called it was where the foods listed above were quality checked and either packaged to go or to call the customers name for them to pick up. Other duties include setup of all meats, cheese, breads, and condiments for sandwich and salad building and delivery. In the pit I setup the potato and soup tables and served and prepared those for customers as well as commincating one on one with regular repeat and potentially new customers. Job duties include opening the restaurant. Turning on the caffeinated and decaffeinated tea dispensers and brewing fresh coffee every morning. I cooked breakfast for customers and served them when their meals were completed. Bacon, potatoes, onion rings and batter had to be fresh prepped on a daily basis and the potato station was cleaned and stocked. I was in charge of a crew of four to five employees on a daily and nightly basis. At the end of the night I counted cash and figured credit and debit receipts and entered them into the main computer kiosk. I made sure that all the employees completed their breakdown and cleaning tasks. And all garbage was disposed of and the dining room and restrooms were cleaned and stocked and ready for the next days business.

VIP Cleaner's, Operations Manager Jul 2004 - Mar 2008 Tasks included keying in, tagging, bagging, and assembling garments after they had been dry cleaned laundered and pressed. When I was given the managerial position I opened the store and started the dryclean machine and the washers and after cleaning issued customers garments to the designated pressing stations in the store for pressing. I assembled and bagged said garments and when all the due cleaning items were completed myself and other employees hung in designated numbers on a conveyer while being keyed in to the main computer kiosk. I made bank bag drops and on Friday I figured the deposit and made the deposit at the bank myself. I waited on and served customers mostly regular customers and was grateful to oblige.

L&M Cleaning Services, Janitor Apr 2003 - Aug 2007 I cleaned up to five businesses such as the Union Pacific Railroad offices located across from downtown Palestine. Duties included entering five different offices after hours and vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning and sanitizing bathroom, stocking paper goods and soap dispensers and wiping surfaces, dusting and disposing of garbage. When all duties described were completed I had to make sure all doors were locked, lights were off and alarms were armed.
