Dynasty Group, Inc. Project Manager 2 015 – 2016

Client: Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Kane County, IL (2015-2016) Project: IL Route 72 @ Big Timber Rd. R ole: P roject Manager. Project Description: Realignment and reconstruction of the intersecting highways in Kane County, IL. The

$4.4M project involved additional lanes and also a new traffic signal. Mr. Walsh was responsible for the overall performance of the project which was completed within budget and on time. Globetrotters Engineering Corp. Senior Project Manager 2 014 – 2015 Client: Illinois State Toll Highway Administration (ISTHA) (2014-2015) Project: I-90 Reconstruction R ole: P roject Manager. Project Description: When ISTHA undertook the reconstruction of 40 miles of the west end of the I-90 corridor Mr. Walsh with a staff of 20 engineers managed the construction inspection and testing of the 8.5 miles at the far west end. The section of the 4-lane highway was behind schedule 105 days and required acceleration. Rescheduling of tasks/personnel and aggressive monitoring allowed the contract to be completed on time. Client: Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Chicago, IL (2011-2014) Project: Wilson Station Reconstruction R ole: P roject Manager. Project Description: As part of its Capital Improvement Plan, the CTA undertook the reconstruction of the Wilson Street Station in order to make it a transfer station so that riders could transfer between the Red, Brown and Purple Lines at that stop. Dynasty’s scope of work for this project included providing survey baseline, establishing controls and performing LIDAR and topographic surveys. Dynasty used the collected data to produce the CTA Standard 1600 Track Drawings for the 23 miles of Red and Purple Line corridors. As project manager, Mr. Walsh’s primary responsibility was the overall level of performance for the project. He was accountable for the profit/loss of the project, and provided supervision, contract administration, planning, cost control and overall project leadership. A representative list of client projects throughout my tenure at Parsons: Client: Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) (2010) Project: Haïti Relief Effort- Port-Au-Prince, Haïti. R ole: C onstruction Manager. Project Description: Careful search and extraction of human remains of American Citizens (AMCIT) at sites in the severe environment of Port-Au-Prince. It also involved demolition and debris removal. Client: Dallas Area Rapid Transit (2009- 2010)

Project: DART Orange Line Design/Build, Irving, TX R ole: S ubmittals Coordinator and Specification Editor. Project Description: Design and construction of $430MM, 9.3 mile, double track light rail system. As a joint venture partner with contractor, responsibilities included all aspects of the design and support construction planning on this fast track project. This included; track alignment and profiles through the existing live traffic streets of Dallas. all systems designs, definition of right-of-way requirements, typical sections, cross sections, contour grading, retaining wall layout and detour plans, and three miles of aerial structure. Coordinated between the client, sub consultants, and multiple design offices. Responsibilities also included plan preparations and meeting client Dallas Area Rapid Transit and contractor deadlines. Client: Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, TX (2008-2009) Project: METRO Solutions Transit Project, Houston, TX R oles: Lead Civil Engineer and Project Manager for the shopping district Uptown Line.

Project Description: T he Houston METRO Solutions Guided Rail Transit Project consisted of four Light Rail Transit Corridors, an Intermodal Terminal and the two Project Maintenance facilities. This included all systems and civil facilities and structures. It also included the purchase of equipment for both revenue and non-revenue vehicles. The Transit Project had a design-build type delivery involving 22 miles of double track in the streets of Houston. Provided design reviews of the four corridors including review of drawings, specifications, design reports, and estimates.

Client: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) (2008) Project: O’Hare International Airport, NavAids, Chicago, IL / R ole: Construction Manager Project Description: Provided Phase III, construction management observation services for construction/installation of navigational aids for new runways 9L/27R and 10L/28R. This included instrument landing systems: glide slope, localizer and middle markers, and distance measuring equipment. Provided oversight in the FAA’s interest for new runway navigational aids in north and south airfields. Client: C hicago Transit Authority (2003)

Project: B lue Line Douglas Branch Reconstruction, Chicago, IL / R ole: P roject Manager for Quality Assurance during the construction.

Project Description: P arsons Transportation Group was responsible for revision/rewriting of the contractor’s quality manual; scheduling, performing and following up on internal and external audits; developing/implementing subcontractor and supplier assessment process; establishing the CAR (Corrective Action Reporting) process; responding to and coordinating corrective actions for the CTA audit findings. Client: Illinois State Toll Highway Administration (ISTHA) (2005-2007) Project: Tri-State Plaza 41, Construction Manager, Chicago, IL / Role: Project Manager/Resident Engineer. Project Description: The project involved providing Phase III, construction management observation services for reconstruction of the Toll Plaza 41 at I-294 and 163rd Street, south of Chicago area. Involved in the following elements of work: widening I-294 by adding one lane in each direction for 1.5 miles; adding two express lanes and removal of two manual lanes in each direction at the Toll Plaza; canopy modifications in both directions, due to the addition of the express lanes; installation of a new toll collection facility with overhead trusses fiber optics and electrical modifications; added new CCTV and new AC to all manual toll booths; utility relocation and drainage installation; new detention ponds; and one culvert extension. Client: L ockheed Martin/Federal Transportation Security Administration (2002-2004) Project: Airport Security Rollout, Chicago, IL / R ole: Construction Manager/Design Project Manager. Project Description: This O’Hare International Airport project valued at $2.5MM involved reconfiguring 9 checkpoints and designing and constructing a new checkpoint. The project included airport physical assessments, concept design, permit acquisition, final design, soliciting competitive bids, managing construction and installation of equipment. The new checkpoint was designed, permitted and constructed in a record time of less than 2 months and was opened for passengers before the holidays. The ambitious schedule was met by rigorous monitoring. The construction was completed efficiently within the budgetary and time requirements without compromising security operations or adversely impacting airline operations. Client: Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) (2002) Project: Southeast Corridor Transportation Expansion Project (T-Rex) I-25, Denver, CO R ole: D eveloped the construction staging and traffic control for the freeway design through the I-25/I-225 interchange and 8 bridge constructions. No lane reductions were allowed through the I-25/I-225 interchange. At the time, this was the fourteenth busiest interchange in the country.

Client: M etropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (2000-2002) Project: Little Calumet Tunnel System, Greater Chicago Area / R ole: Deputy Project Manager. Project Description: R esponsible for the layout of 11 drop shafts, 10 regulating structures and 34 connecting structures with permanent access roads to these sites. Utility coordinator on the project for utilities impacted in 40 different locations. Early coordination and favorable communication with the utility companies prevented any delays during construction. Responsible for budget control and schedule compliance.
