KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Participate in pre-tender meetings and site visits, manage documents, drawings, specifications, basis of design and determine the scope of works and required contents for estimation.

Quantity take off from the drawings, pricing up to ‘complete standardized cost breakdown’

Formulate all costs for proposed submission (Labor, equipment, material & subcontracts)

Preliminary estimation, budget estimation, detailed estimation with rate analysis.

Define and maintain documented category & supplier strategies with rate analysis

Recognize, supervise all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.

POs / Contracts, technical commercial negotiations with suppliers / subcontractors on lead time, terms & conditions, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefits.

Internal & external audit, reviews sub-contractor invoices, scope of work and contracts.

Develop platform value engineering & drive procurement strategies in order to meet cost saving targets.

ROLE AS MEP PROJECT ENGINEER: HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection & Electrical works

Generally responsible for implementation, monitoring, planning & reviewing all technical submittals for all mechanical items & related works as per approved drawings, methods and safety rules.

Prepare and assign the resources such as manpower, material, consumables, equipment and tools required for work prior to execution and provide required technical support to all mechanical work groups at site.

Project supervision of plumbing (Hot & Cold water supply), Fire protection system (Automatic sprinklers, clean agent FM200, Foam, Dry chemicals & CO2, Fire alarm works and safety solutions according to NFPA codes.

Co-ordination, Execution & monitoring, testing and commissioning of HVAC System like Package units, Split Units, Exhaust fans, FA fans, Pressurized Fans, Etc.

Shop drawing and as built drawing preparation in Auto cad, drawing submittal and obtaining client/consultant approval and Liaising with Consultants/Clients for site inspections (IR) and Material approvals.

Installation, testing & commissioning according to the international codes & standards for all mechanical items (Pumps, Valves, pipes, fittings, flow meters, tanks, screens & Elevators)

Welding, fabrication supervision & quality inspection.

Supporting the PM in all the goals and targets, risk mitigation techniques, variation / change orders

Performance reviews & reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements besides liaising with key stakeholders (Clients, consultants, Subcontractors and other authorities.

Post & Pre Equipment installations. Project reporting, Site Co- ordination & Supervision. Material submittals, Subcontractor & vendor management. PROJECTS:-
