Project Name: “ORDER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” for the Administrative departments of Government of J&K.

Organization: “NATIONAL INFORMATIC CENTRE (NIC)” CIVIL SECRETARIAT, JAMMU. Role: Developer

Objectives:In J&K Government have near about 40 Administrative departments and numerous sub- departments / Line departments. Each of these departments issue orders / notifications, SRO, etc. on daily basis. These generate a number of orders per day and these orders are not easily available to the public in general and Government servants in particular. In order to overcome these problems, a portal is being developed which will have the digital copies of all the departments on the portal. Review:This Software “ORDER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” is implemented using ASP.NET and SQL Server 2008.

This project covers the following implementations: This project intends to introduce more user friendliness in the various activities such as record updating, maintenance, and searching.

The entire information has maintained in the database or Files and whoever wants to retrieve can’t retrieve, only authorization user can retrieve the necessary information which can be easily be accessible from the file. Technologies Used: ASP.NET,SOL-SERVER 2008
