Responsibilities:

Accounts payable, approximately 50,0000 per month. Accounts receivable, student tuition and dues, government grants and loans from Sally Mae.

Bank reconciliations for 8 accounts.

Monthly and annual budget.

Payroll thru ADP.

AFTRA/SAG. (April 2008-Nov. 2012).

Accounting Manager. (Dynamics/Solomon System, QuickBooks and Excel). Responsibilities:

Manage staff of 7 employees.

Bank reconciliations of 16 accounts.

Received and process all accounts payable from 16 out of state offices and post the correct Journal Entry.

Assist in payroll thru ADP.

Do account analysis and make apparent journal entries/corrections. Do all accounting functions for AFTRA Foundation, (QuickBooks and Excel). Month end close and reports.

Work with inside auditors for 3 months per year, schedules and analysis of all accounts. Maintain approximately 200 investment accounts and keep up to date schedules on all. Insurance contracts, approximately 20.

Cafe Mex Restaurant (2000-2008).

General Manager/Owner.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a staff of approximately 30 employees.

All payroll functions, (QuickBooks).

End of month sales tax reports.

Accounts payables and working with vendors for best prices. Ordering of food and supplies and keeping detailed inventory. Keeping track of food cost. Making sure food quality and presentation was perfect. Making sure ambiance is great.

Giving guest the greatest service ever so they are ready to return soon. W Hotel formally Westwood Marque (Los Angeles) (1994-2000). Credit Manager/part time Asst. Controller

Responsibilities:

Maintain general ledger, post journal entries.

Account analysts.

Manage staff of 6.

Weekly meeting with staff and monthly meeting with directors. Bank reconciliations of 5 accounts.

Maintain A/R and collections (300,000 per month).

Credit card batches and disputes.

Lowes Hotel. (Santa Monica, CA) (1986-1994).

Credit Manager

Responsibilities:

All Accounts Receivable and Collections, (500,000 month). Established and maintain all new accounts.

Produce all billing daily.

all credit card batches daily.

Make Process approximately 20 collection calls per day as needed. Meet with outside representatives before establishing accounts. Have monthly credit meetings with in-house executives, to review any late payments. Work with inside auditors annually.

Holiday Inn. (Harrogate, TN) (1980-1985).

Auditor/Night Manager

Responsibilities:

All Accounts Receivable and Collections.

Established and maintain all new accounts.

Produce all billing daily.

Process all credit card batches daily.

Audit all outlets, (restaurants, bars, front desk, etc. Meet with outside representatives before establishing accounts. Handle any issues for guest and make sure their stay was perfect. Work with inside auditors annually.
