I started off at a warehouse for overhead doors, where they would take golf carts and maintain them. I ran half inch and three quarter pipe for receptacles and lighting. I terminated panels and even ran pipe for a automatic gate. From here I went to work at keloggs, where we were to do a shutdown at the plant. What was called the mixer project I cut bent three quarter rigid pipe that ran from silo to silo in what were essentially the mixing silos. I also took responsibility to be in a room called the boiler room, where the tempature stayed above at least 100 degrees so the oil inside the tanks did not harden up. There were four silos that had to have devices on each wire pulled to each. Each had to be terminated. The devices on the silo checked different levels of a variety of ingredients for the proper mixture they wanted. I had an OSHA 10 already, one of Kelloggs requirements was that your osha 10 cannot be no more than three years old.

2016-05 - 2016-11 Electrical Apprentice

West Georgia Electric

I began this job at the Augusta Natiomals. This was my biggest job I've been on. Here I started out in the basement running four inch service feed and back up generator pipe. I patched the hole where these pipes left the building with concrete. On the ground level I ran mc, I wired both front and back porchs, I ran emergency circuits feeds, terminated panels, and wired led can lights. With a short crew on a weekend we managed to pull all 24 service feeds. On the second floor I ran mc, ran pipe for HVAC units, not sleeves through concrete, core drilled on both first and second floor where some things were added or was forgotten, and wired both porches on the front and back. I also had to make small adjustments to rows and columns of can lights. Me and one other electrician fixed 220 can lights that were originally supposed to be symmetrical horizontally vertically and even diagnolly. I also wired several rooms with dimming switches and fixed others that were not wired correctly. On the roof I terminated all HVAC units which i could walk inside of ran the seal tight, as well as terminated humidifiers and exhaust fans in several areas. I was also part of the preconstruction for maintenance receptacles. 2014-12 - 2016-03 Electrical Apprentice

motion activated. Troubleshooting other schools I learned about emergency and normal power, how they only meet at relays, how a relay works according to the way it is wired, and how these relays can sense a power outage of normal power. Once power is lost, relay sense says to cut emergency power on until continuous normal power stays in affect. Only then will emergency power cut off. 2014-03 - 2014-08 Electrical Apprentice
