As a dock worker I was to maintain proper safety procedures and operations, Also we are responsible for selecting freight and maintaining productivity in a fast pace environment. As a Dock Worker in the freezer you must be able to work in cold environments. DW also asked to be able to operate an electric pallet jack and forklift in a safe manner. At times the as a DW you are responsible for the unloading and breaking down of freight at an adequate pace when working as an unloader. We trained to maintain an organized and clean work area.

Training everyday using carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and tow motors thanks to the experience in the field from previous jobs I knew standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, carrying, bending, reaching, and lifting both above and below waist level would be required. heavy lifting will be required. Working for this company I always worked in a safe and professional manner so as to reduce personal risks and risk to fellow employees. As a DW you were expected to comply with federal, state, and company regulations. We were asked to Process all paperwork daily associated with the execution of the job.
