Responsibilities Profile
Inspection Planning:
oPreparation of QA/QC plan, Inspection Test Plan, Customer specification extracts, Inspection check lists, Seam list and Part list after receiving of new projects.
oMaking standard protocol as per applicable standards and specification, Drawing and get it approved by Customer/TPI.
oPreparation of test piece for welder qualification test.
oHandling of TC related to project done at site.
Receipt Inspection
oVerify the correctness of the raw materials like Plates, Pipes, Forgings, Fittings and Fasteners as per Purchase orders.
oReview the Mill Test certificates for compliance with Codes and Standards.
oPhysical verification of Raw materials by conducting Dimensional measurements and Visual inspection at receipt.
oPrepare Material Clearance Records (MCR) for pressure & non-pressure parts and get it reviewed by TPI/Customer.
In-process Inspection
oPerform Stage inspections as per approved Quality Control Plan (QCP).
oInspect Stage inspection like Set-up, Weld visual and Dimensional measurements.
oPrepare Stage Inspection records & Get it inspected by TPI/Customer.
oReview PWHT/LSR chart with respect to Heat Treatment Request (HTR), Codes and standards.
Final & Dispatch Inspection
oVerify the Final dimension and Visual inspection of Vessel & Components before and after PWHT.
oVerify all the specific requirements compliance before Final clearance.
oVerify all the completeness of the vessel before dispatch.
oVerify the Vessel as per Transportation arrangements drawing before Dispatch.
Non Destructive Examination
oWitness PT, MT, UT of weld joints and Base metals and get it cleared from TPI/Customer
oInterpretation of Radiographs
oPreparation of NDE (PT, MT, UT and RT) reports.
Co ordination with Third Party
oCo ordinate with Third party inspection agencies / Customer representative like BV and Authorize Inspector.
oCo ordinate with Internal and External Customers.
