June 2016- Dec 2016: Intern DSP Engineer - ATC Labs, Newark, NJ, USA.

Developing a large number of Codebooks using data compression techniques such as vector quantization. The algorithm implemented is LBG algorithm which is widely used in vector quantization techniques.

Conducting MUSHRA listening test used for subjective evaluation of audio quality. Preparing the test documents and reports of all the tests conducted. Excellent use of Pro Audio Tools like Adobe Audition and Audacity.

Working on implementation of Audio Bandwidth Extension Algorithm on Microzed FPGA Board using Vivado, System Generator and Xilinx SDK tools.

Mar 2013-Aug 2015: Research Scientist- Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research, IIT Bombay

Developed GPS Digital Radiosonde which is used regularly by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) for weather prediction. Silicon Labs microcontroller was used.

Developed GPS Pilot Balloon system for predicting height of cloud from surface of the earth. Used various communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C and worked on interfacing of ADC/ DAC with microcontroller.

Developed an Ultra-low power Wireless Sensor network system using TI MSP430 for the protection of precious sandalwood trees using accelerometers and microphones. Communication with each other using TI CC2520.

Performed quality control on prospective new designs/hardware schematic diagrams created by trainee engineers and existing redesigns. PCB design and testing along with the various test equipment like Digital Oscilloscopes, Spectrum analyzers, Logic analyzers, waveform generators, etc. Knowledge of major IDE’s used for development.

Completed all the technical documentation on every project, including various software documentation and user manuals. Prepared reports on every outdoor test.

Jun 2010- Aug 2010: Summer Internship in Embedded Systems- Thinklabs, SINE IITB, Mumbai

Learned about all the various peripherals present on Atmel Atmega 128 Board and firmware development.

Implemented various peripheral subroutines for small tasks and secured ‘A’ grade in Home Based Automatic Door alarm system.
