M&A Practice Leader in Global Transaction Strategies Worldwide. Responsible for new business, management of engagements and the development of Business Integration – IT Centric Frameworks. Development of nationwide insurance companies’ M&A process, complete with tools, procedures, forms and methods for acquisition, including training and executive seminars. Developed IT specific M&A presentation material, and several proposals for business.

Responsible for the management of engagements to ensure profitability and strategic development. Assisted in the development of the service offering for large-scale transformations. managed major client assignments including development of a plan to turn Prudential into a public company.
1993-1999: TECHLABS INC. MANAGING PARTNER
Responsible for new business and the management of all engagements. Brought in over eight major assignments for Re-Structuring, M & A’S, Program Management offices, and data warehouses in several different industries.
1980-1992: BANTAM, DOUBLEDAY, DELL PUBLISHING GROUP INC. & BERTELSMANN
VICE PRESIDENT AND COO
Developed the plan to consolidate, and integrate BERTELSMANN, INC.’S New York holdings; BANTAM, DOUBLEDAY, DELL PUBLISHING GROUP, INC. and BERTELSMANN MUSIC GROUP-RCA into a newly acquired building. Project Valued at $1 billion, with savings of $196 million.
Developed the Strategic Plan and executed the successful integration of BANTAM, DOUBLEDAY, DELL PUBLISHING GROUP, INC., encompassing publishing entities in excess of $1 billion, meeting all profit, schedule, and budget objectives. Eliminated over $40 million in costs (people, facilities, equipment) closed and sold three DOUBLEDAY distribution facilities, consolidated three New York office locations into one.
Converted systems to the BDD Cluster, and moved 100 million books into a combined facility, with no interruption in services. Met sales unit budget the first year, and propelled BANTAM, DOUBLEDAY, DELL into the number one position in fulfillment.
Developed the Strategic Plan and executed the successful acquisition of RCA Records encompassing entities in excess of 1 billion, meeting all profit, schedule and budget objectives.
1976-1980: ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY - CITIBANK, N.A.
CORPORATE VICE PRESIDENT
Led CitiBank’s Advanced Technology Group responsible for today’s ATM machines. Developed and installed an online project monitoring process controlling $100 million in systems development. Established and managed corporate control and interface with all CitiBank Groups. Led the bank through the largest “incoming mail” program in NY, saving 1 full day of processing time, closing the local Post Office, and giving the Bank their own zip code supported by scanning and robotics.
1972-1976: LOGISTICS/SYSTEMS XEROX CORPORATION
CORPORATE VICE PRESIDENT
Major Project responsibilities included cost improvement savings in excess of $40 million in costs and $120 million in inventory. Designed and implemented a total Distribution Network Strategy, parts forecasting/planning system, inventory echelon stocking model and communication network for 30 thousand technical representatives controlling over 750,000 locations still in use today. Improving customer service to 97%, reducing inventory by over $80 million and optimizing transportation/facilities expense. Established a Multi-National Systems Group responsible for design and implementation of all systems.
1969-1972: OLIVETTI CORPORATION of AMERICA VICE PRESIDENT OPERATIONS COO
Returned to successfully move all operations from Hartford Connecticut to Harrisburg Pa. Involving 5000 people, the union, and a 1million square foot facility under construction.
1968-1969: BOOZE-ALLEN & HAMILTON
ASSOCIATE, COMPUTER SYSTEMS DIVISION
Job Management of several MIS assignments in which he developed the Conceptual Systems Approach, planning and hardware requirements for varied industries, and directed all BA&H consultants and support specialists including client EDP staff personnel through detailed systems design, programming and implementation of integrated systems resulting in assignments valued at $5 million with economic benefit potentials of $2.4 million annual savings in large companies. Developed EDP Standards Manuals and Project Control Techniques.
1963-1968: OLIVETTI CORPORATION OF AMERICA VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS (COO)
Designed, directed and implemented total Corporate Management Information System controlled by PERT, embracing all corporate divisions, resulting in large scale savings and increased control. Developed, staffed and directed a large EDP facility, installed an integrated cost, production, inventory control system supporting a one million square foot manufacturing facility, commended by all levels of management, general industry and IBM Corporation. Responsible for the successful move of the Harrisburg manufacturing, assembly and office operations into a new $30 million facility. Designed, developed, staffed and installed large 360 facilities with system completely controlling finances, standard cost, manufacturing, and assembly operations.
