1. Solving Piping & Instrumentation Diagram of Boiler Section at a Plant During the training at Yokogawa, Bangalore the project that was submitted by me focussed on solving piping & instrumentation diagram by finding open and closed loops, implementing the same on Yokogawa DCS. In the process, we prepared the corresponding blocks in the control drawing using different function blocks of DCS (Centum VP). 2. Smart Helmet (Bachelor Thesis)

In an attempt to curb the number of fatalities caused by head injuries in a road accident, I with three of my colleagues came up with the idea of smart helmet. Some of its features were that the vehicle wouldn’t start without the driver being wearing the helmet or if the driver is under the influence of alcohol. With the use of few ultrasonic sensors installed in the vehicle, in the event of a collision these sensors will trigger a buzzer on the outside of helmet to attract nearby people in order to help the driver as well as these sensors will send an SOS message to the emergency contacts sending GPS location to the contact.
