Dedicated Aerospace Engineer with superior computational and problem solving skills seeking a challenging opportunity in engineering design, analysis, and testing in Aerospace/Mechanical related industries. EDUCATION
Master of Science - Aerospace Engineering, May 2017 Major GPA – 3.25/4.0 California State University Long Beach CA, USA
Bachelor of Engineering - Aeronautical Engineering, May 2015 CGPA – 7.6/10 Parisutham Institute of Technology and Science, Anna University TN, India ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Effect of Applied Electric Field on Bubble Behavior in Dielectric Fluid Boiling Dec 2016–Present
(For ASME's IMECE Conference, Nov’17)
Presented the experimental results illustrating the effect of a large applied electric field on the surface wetting characteristics of dielectric bubbles in nucleate boiling and implemented a CFD-based numerical model to study the effect of the applied electric field on the bubble three-phase contact line to explain an apparent liquid film stabilization effect under the applied electric field.
Advanced and Emerging NDT for Composites Aug–Dec 2016 Discussed the principles and methods involved in the advanced and emerging non-destructive technologies for composites like Shearography, Infrared Thermography, Eddy Current Thermography, Laser Ultrasonic, Holographic Interferometry and Acousto-Ultrasonic.
Re-entry Parameters for Hybrid Hypersonic Space Capsule Design Jan–Apr 2015 Reduced the velocity of Re-entry capsule by optimizing the frontal area design. Hence, creating more bow shocks, which reduces the impact of air on the surface. Analyzed the capsule design using ANSYS-CFX at hypersonic speed with the tilted entry of the capsule. CERTIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCES
Master Diploma in Aerospace Design Sep 2013–Jun 2015 AutoCAD, CATIA V5, ProE, Star-CCM+ V12, SolidWorks, NX-CAD/CAM ANSYS 14.5, NX-NASTRAN and GD&T
Aero Modelling In-plant Training Jan–Mar 2013
Assembled a Remote Controlled 48cc Petrol Engine aircraft and learnt about its simulation with a practical training on how to control the aircraft in the sky under the guidance of AMI (Air Force). VOLUNTEERING EXPERIENCES
