Senior Engineer November 08 – Present

Support Engineer/Test Lead/Integration Specialist working on various performance management and event management tasks for leading Telecom Provider

•Review requirements and design docs and cater Detailed Test Plans and Test Strategy docs to ensure all requirements are met

•Create and execute Acceptance Test Plans and User Acceptance test plans

•Installed and configured Netcool Omnibus 7.3 for AIX in client’s lab environment. Configured a three tiered architecture which included Collection, Aggregation and Display layers

•Installed and configured the Netcool Omnibus Gateway for Oracle version 5.1.1 for AIX in clients lab environment

•Configured the Collection to Aggregation,Aggregation to Display and Failover gates in clients lab environment

•Installed and configured Mttrapd probe, Alcatel5529 OAD probe, NSN 5625 probe, Alcatel 5620 SAM probe, SCOM probe and Tivoli EIF probe

•Modified and updated probe rules files to account for changes in severities, agents, summaries, and other Netcool alert fields per clients request or where neccessary

•Managed Netcool code migrations throughout development environments (development, test, end2end, pre-production, production) for various Netcool implementations

•Created, migrated and documented Netcool Omnibus configuration packs (confpack) to move Omnibus code changes across development environments throughout project lifecycles
