Design structural elements for the cargo and crane barges in the construction of the third bridge over the Orinoco River, Venezuela, that will span for 6.8 miles.
Sub-contracted by Odebrecht-Impreggilio-Vinckler for calculations, technical assistance, and support systems designs for various barges in the Tocoma Manuel Piar Dam Project, Venezuela. Duties included designing the protection system in auto-propelled barges; preparing launching procedures and performing structural calculations and simulations in a barge of 240 tons of capacity, preparing launching procedures for RAMBO tug boat, employing several applications of SAP-2000 for designing numerous medium-size sheltered area.
