MAIN DEVELOPER OF THE EFILE APPLICATION
Developed the eFile application that is being used by over 3000 field engineers worldwide (front end and back end).
This application will allow field engineers to share documents between visiting locations. Instead of dumping documents to corporate drives that are unsecure, eFile provides the field engineers a secure method of sharing documents between visiting locations.
Reached all my goals including features that were optional.
Finished all sprints on time.
Implement custom UI controls using templates in resource dictionaries.
Found solutions to UI design problems that could not be previously solved with an application that uses eFile.
Worked closely with QA to stabilize each sprint and build.
Implemented MahAppsMetro, which is a .dll that helps bring a Metro-style user interface to WPF, giving the app a more modern look.
Came up with solutions to enhancement requests and wrote up the functional specifications for them.
SOLE DEVELOPER OF THE FIELD ENGINEERING EVALUATION TOOL
Developed the FE Evaluation Tool that is being used by trailers of field engineers during a field engineers visit to a location.
This application has replaced all the different ways that each operation center in FM Global trails field engineers.
I was my own business analyst and QA as this application was not an official project.
Implemented a Rest Service to add data from the application to the database.
Created stored procedures that take data from the service and allocate the data in the correct location in the database.
Implemented MahAppsMetro, which is a .dll that helps bring a Metro-style user interface to WPF, giving the app a more modern look.
Convert excel spreadsheets to .pdf format using Interops.
Implemented creating an outlook message with a pdf attached using Interops.
SOLE DEVELOPER OF THE MOSAIC APPLICATION
Developed the Mosaic Application, which is an application for FM Global’s Boston Ops to help with the creation of reports for their clients.
This reporting tool saves the business over 100 hours quarterly for just one client.
Created multiple spreadsheets using CLOSEDXML and charts using Interops.
I was my own QA as this application was not an official project.
