SUMMARY

I have more than 9 years of experience in translation and interpretation. My experience consists of working with the United States Military, DOD and USAID contractors, private sector and legal sector in Afghanistan. Worked with professional international lawyers in Afghanistan as translator and worked on translation of different law articles, amendment, legislation and also worked as a translator in commercial sector and commercial dispute resolution in Afghanistan.

COMPUTER SKILLS

I have studied computer science for 2 years in Peshawar Pakistan between 2000 and 2002, when the new government was established in Afghanistan in 2001, I moved back to Afghanistan.

I have a good computer skill I can work with MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Other than that, as an Inventory Control Associate in The Home Depot United States I am using these programs daily.

As an Inventory Control Associate, I make sure that the Out Bound operations runs smoothly and without any interference in the system.

My responsibilities are to respond to calls from OB managers and Associates, resolving their issues and making sure that all products are accounted for and up to date and correct.

As an Asset Protection Auditor, my job and responsibilities were to make sure Out Bound is processing all goods correctly without any overages and shortages.

Auditing all the goods in the dock, auditing trailers while being loaded and entering the numbers in the system.

Reporting to my superiors and mangers through email.

As an Inbound associate, my responsibilities were to receive all the goods enter them in the system and direct them to different pick locations.

Making sure all the good are shipped correctly.

As a Translator, my job and responsibilities were to translate documents, letter, articles of laws making sure all our customer receive high quality translation of their letters proposals and official letters received from Afghanistan Government.

The company had contracts mostly with DoD and USAID contractors where we used to work with them to help with their legal matters in relation with Afghanistan Government authorities.

Our company also legislated two different laws which were given to the company to draft the Anti-Hoarding Law and Afghanistan Consumer Protection Law.

As office manager, my responsibilities were to keep all the documents organized, purchase of office materials. Keeping all client’s paperwork organized and also meeting with Government officials to set up appointments.

On November 19th, 2013 I was given the chance to move to United States of America for pursue of better life for my family. I am honored to be a law-abiding resident of the United States of America.

As a Translator, I have worked with different teams in different locations of Afghanistan.

I started my job as an interpreter with logistic mentors in Herat, Afghanistan. I worked with the mentors who were the first team that established the Forward Support Depot for the Afghan National forces in Zone West. I worked with them for 1 year.

Then on 2006 I started working with the police mentor team in Badghis province of Afghanistan. From mid-2006 to mid-2009 I worked for the US-Army, DynCorp and US embassy representative for the Badghis Governor.

From mid-2009 to mid-2011 I worked for the Operation Coordination Center-Kabul in Kabul Afghanistan.

From 2011 to 2012 I worked for Validation and Transition Team in Kabul Afghanistan.
