Objective
My goal is secure a position as a manufacturing engineer. I bring applicable technical experience from the semiconductor manufacturing engineer field: solving complex technical issues such as scaling up from a pilot line to full scale manufacturing, development of process/productivity improvement through implementation of solutions using automation. I also bring perspective as a medical lab technician: multitasking in a fast paced environment and producing high quality results for accurate treatment of patients in a cardiac clinic.
Experience
Medical Lab Technician 2012-present
nUniversity of Minnesota Health Heart (2014 to present)
oLead Medical technician. Performed phlebotomy on patients. Processes specimens on chemistry analyzer and determine acceptability of results. Perform all necessary maintenance on analyzer. Monitor quality control SPC charts and investigate trends and shifts and make necessary modifications to return process to one that is in control.
oResponsible for all aspect of COLA Certification for the lab: Maintain historic records of calibrations, qualifications, maintenance, and lab procedures. Coordinate periodic linearity testing of the analyzer and proficiency testing of lab staff.
nFairview Health System (2012 to 2014)
oWorked in multiple Fairview clinics (Uptown, Children’s, New Brighton) and Fairview Highland Park Urgent care clinic as medical lab technician. Preformed all necessary phlebotomy and waived kit tests. Ran Sysmex hematology analyzer.
nFairview Ridges Hospital (2010 to 2012)
oPerformed all contamination control procedures to patient rooms following patient discharge in order to clean and disinfect hospital room and return room to patient ready condition
oProvide all daily housekeeping tasks to occupied patient rooms and public areas of hospital
