Provide complete bedside care to patients experiencing gastric bleeds, renal failure, or respiratory failure and patients recovering from cerebrovascular accident (CVA) or neurosurgical procedures such as craniotomy, laminectomy, and hematoma evacuation for stroke patients; experienced in treating patients in telemetry, intermediate care unit (IMCU), trauma, and ICU units. Continuously assess patients, measuring vital statistics, ordering and interpreting diagnostic labs, and documenting response to prescribed treatment.

Work with interdisciplinary care team to develop and initiate customized care plans, adjusting plans based on patients' response to treatment.

Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood and blood products, and monitor intracranial pressure and EVDs, manage wounds, and track cardiac functions.

Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and expectations, encouraging patient and families' participation in care and treatment.

Nurse Leadership and Unit Administration
