During this time the homes were brand new – Worked with Contractors and Management to ensure a seamless process in information exchange and co-ordination of hand off between contractors to Property Management for lease up. Worked off of a Punch List.
2002 -2003 – Assistant Manager at Monaco South Apartments – 235 Homes- Rent collections/Posting. Leasing, Maintained high occupancy ratio’s and accurate record keeping. Followed up with potential resident candidates. Shopped “like” properties for competitor pricing monthly.
2003 – 2005 Manager of Maplewood Terrace in Arvada – 180 apartments. Oversaw daily duties of (2) Maintenance personnel and (1) leasing agent. I was put in this property due to my background renovation/construction experience. This was a distressed property. We did a complete interior makeover of all homes, Paint, Appliance upgrades, Carpet and Linoleum, Kitchen and Bath Cabinets. The large Olympic pool was downsized to create a more parklike setting with a much smaller pool and Jacuzzi. Leasing was exciting but challenging during this process. Upon completion revenue was increased and we had a very exciting property.
